  • I²r Power designs and manufactures water-cooled induction power cables for a broad range of controlled atmosphere applications. If you are melting, casting or refining super alloys we can design/build a secondary conductor for your application. I²r Power has been providing cables to the super-alloy industry, around the world for over 11 years - because we deliver value.
  • DS/SX, Equiax – whether it’s a long DS/SX withdraw cycle, or fast, repeatable equiax process; we build water-cooled power cables that handle your application.
  • VIM – the VIM process establishes ingot metallurgical quality. You cannot abort a campaign due to your water-cooled power cables.
  • VAR/ESR – the Remelt process is a significant value-add, you need to trust that your water-cooled power cables will perform.
  • Powder Metallurgy – potentially, you will tap & cast for the next 2–4 hours, you need to have confidence in your water-cooled power cables.

Controlled atmosphere applications are often employed in the high-temperature thermal processing of cobalt & nickel based super-alloys, and thus a reliable pass-thru method is essential.
